Porter Personnel – Twin Anchors Houseboats

Job Function:

  • Assist guests with their belongings and ensure a smooth flow of activity for the customer in accordance with the Quality System and meet time commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport guests’ belongings from their vehicles to assigned boats as efficiently as possible
  • Assist guests in appropriate parking of vehicles
  • Perform functions of customer service as required
  • Performs other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Twin Anchors’ environment

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in customer service or related abilities
  • WHMIS training

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

  • Hospitality/Tourism training or work experience
  • Knowledge of the houseboat industry or marine environment
  • Experience dealing with conflict
