Hostess Personnel – 

Job Function:

  • Assist guests throughout check-in and check-out to ensure smooth and enjoyable transition.


  • Meet and greet guests upon arrival and assist in parking assignments
  • Identify captains/co-captains and assist with their movement through the registration and orientation processes and other check-in processes
  • Assist guests returning from vacation with check-out processes
  • Performs other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Twin Anchors environment

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in customer service or related abilities
  • Hospitality/Tourism training or work experience
  • Displayed strengths in dealing with conflict or aggressive customers
  • WHMIS training

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the houseboat industry or marine environment
  • Organizational training or recognized abilities to direct others
